Triton Express is looking for a responsible and professional 5/8 Ton Driver to handle the distribution and collection of client cargo. If you have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and offload cargo safely and efficiently
- Collect and complete daily delivery and collection sheets
- Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any vehicle faults promptly
- Ensure all cargo is handled with care during transport
- Confirm delivery and collection addresses before departure
- Maintain regular contact with the depot throughout the day
- Follow delivery/collection instructions strictly unless authorized otherwise
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 1–2 years of relevant driving experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License (unendorsed)
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Able to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Punctual, trustworthy, and reliable
- Presentable and professional at all times
- Own reliable transport to and from work
