About the Company
Absolute Pets is South Africa’s leading pet retailer, offering premium pet food, treats, and accessories through a network of over 180 stores nationwide.
We’re looking for a dedicated and responsible Warehouse Driver to join our logistics team in Pinetown, Durban.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time deliveries to stores according to the scheduled route.
- Depart from the warehouse by 09:00 each morning (Monday–Friday).
- Load the delivery vehicle in an organized and efficient manner following the day’s route plan.
- Verify and check all stock items before loading.
- Deliver correct stock to designated stores and confirm all items upon delivery in the presence of store personnel.
- Handle all products carefully to minimize damage during loading and offloading.
- Report any discrepancies or delivery issues to the Warehouse Manager immediately.
- Verify and record all returned stock against the IBT documentation, noting any discrepancies.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, neat, and well-maintained at all times.
- Report any vehicle damages or faults promptly.
- Uphold company values and professionalism in all duties.
- Assist with general warehouse operations as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDP.
- Proven experience as a delivery vehicle driver.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a responsible work ethic.
