About the Role
Unique Personnel is seeking a reliable and proactive Driver to handle daily delivery operations efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle upkeep, timely deliveries, and accurate documentation while maintaining a professional standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all daily driving tasks according to workload and schedule.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle inspections as required.
- Verify that all delivery paperwork is accurate and matches the stock being transported.
- Perform invoice and stock checks each morning before departure.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, inside and out, and kept in good condition.
- Monitor vehicle service schedules and notify management when maintenance is due.
- Perform vehicle inspections before each route to ensure safety and readiness.
- Follow all traffic laws and road safety rules at all times.
- Ensure safe delivery and return of stock to and from clients.
Requirements
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence
- Matric certificate and relevant qualifications
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be energetic, fit, and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently
- Good administrative and organizational skills
