Tailormade Solution is seeking an experienced Code 10 Driver with a valid PDrDP. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, cleanliness, and security of company vehicles, as well as the timely and secure delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily vehicle checklists and report any defects to management without delay
- Immediately report mechanical or safety-related issues identified while driving
- Comply with all company policies and traffic regulations
- Ensure vehicles are driven safely and kept clean in accordance with the Road Traffic Act
- Safeguard goods in transit and deliver to designated destinations on schedule
- Complete and manage all required delivery documentation, including invoices and signatures
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Despatch Manager regarding traffic conditions or delivery delays
- Take full responsibility for all stock loaded and offloaded
- Protect company assets by ensuring vehicles are locked and secured at every stop
- Carry out duties as instructed by the Despatch Manager
- Refuel vehicles at approved fuel stations as directed and submit all fuel slips to the Despatch Manager
Candidate Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with a current PDrDP
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven driving experience (traceable references required)
- Clear criminal record
- Willingness to work weekends and after hours when required
- Diligent, reliable, and punctual
- Good communication skills in English
- Available to start immediately
- Resident of Centurion or surrounding areas
