Driver (Code 10) – Job Opportunity

Requirements:

• Matric / Equivalent qualification (Essential)
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence (Essential)
• Valid PDP licence (Essential)
• Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience (Advantageous)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of warehouse operations
• Understanding of safety standards and use of protective clothing

Key Duties:

• Transport and move goods in and out of the storeroom
• Pack stock onto shelves and secure merchandise in storage areas
• Perform general warehouse support tasks as required

Areas of Responsibility:

• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure roadworthiness
• Report any vehicle defects or accidents to the line manager immediately
• Plan and follow delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations
• Load stock with the dispatch clerk, verifying against delivery notes
• Complete and submit delivery documents and reports for accurate records
• Obtain client/customer signatures upon delivery
• Communicate effectively with clients to address and resolve complaints
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and report when servicing is due
• Report all delivery-related issues to the line manager
• Adhere to safety and security regulations at all times
