Role Overview:
The Driver will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company vehicles, ensuring goods are transported securely and delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily vehicle checklists and report any faults to management immediately
• Report mechanical or other issues detected while driving without delay
• Comply with all company policies, traffic regulations, and the Road Traffic Act
• Maintain the cleanliness and safe operation of the truck
• Safeguard goods in transit and ensure timely delivery to designated locations
• Manage all daily paperwork, including invoices and required signatures
• Maintain communication with the Despatch Manager regarding traffic conditions, delays, or customer issues
• Take full responsibility for all stock loaded and offloaded
• Protect company assets and ensure the vehicle is securely locked at every stop
• Follow instructions issued by the Despatch Manager
• Refuel the vehicle at approved fuel stations as directed
• Ensure all fuel slips are submitted to the Despatch Manager

Requirements:

• Matric (compulsory)
• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDrDP
• Minimum of 5 years’ driving experience with traceable references
• Clear criminal record
• Willingness to work weekends and after hours
• Reliable, punctual, and diligent
• Good communication skills in English
• Must be available immediately
• Must reside in or near Centurion

Applications will not be considered without a Matric certificate, a valid Code 10 licence with PDrDP, and at least 5 years of driving experience.
