Job Overview

Europcar Sandton, a division of Motus Corporation, is seeking a dependable and responsible Light Duty Driver to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Code 8 driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a solid understanding of South African road rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards.
• Conduct vehicle quality checks, reporting any defects, expired licenses, or non-compliance issues.
• Refuel vehicles and check tyres, oil, water, and other fluids after each rental.
• Deliver and collect vehicles according to company procedures.
• Process vehicle check-ins following established quality control and claims protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the yard and surrounding areas.
• Uphold company integrity by acting ethically and protecting business and customer interests.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Matric / NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ relevant driving experience.
• License: Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (held for at least 2 years).
• Skills:
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Good communication skills, fully bilingual with fluency in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps.
• Must be willing to work weekends, shifts, and overtime as required.
