Position: Light Duty Driver – Europcar Cape Town

Europcar Cape Town is looking for a dependable and responsible Driver to join the team. The ideal candidate must have a clean driving record and strong knowledge of South African road rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards.
• Conduct vehicle quality checks, including identifying expired licenses and reporting any non-compliance issues.
• Refuel vehicles and check tyre pressure, oil, water, and other fluids after each rental.
• Deliver vehicles to customers following established procedures.
• Manage vehicle check-ins in line with company guidelines, quality control, and claims processes.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the yard and surrounding areas.
• Uphold company integrity by acting ethically and safeguarding company and customer assets.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant driving experience.

Qualifications

• Matric or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (held for at least 2 years).
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fully bilingual with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and interpret maps.
• Willingness to work weekends, shifts, and overtime when necessary.
