Position: Light Duty Driver – Europcar
Location: Durban, King Shaka Depot

Europcar Durban is looking for a dependable and professional Light Duty Driver to join their team. The successful candidate must have a clean driving history and a solid understanding of South African driving rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards.
• Conduct vehicle quality checks, including identifying expired license discs and any issues not meeting quality expectations.
• Refuel vehicles and check tyre pressure, oil, water, and other fluids after each rental.
• Deliver vehicles to customers following company procedures.
• Process vehicle check-ins in line with company, quality, and claims protocols.
• Keep the yard and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
• Uphold company integrity by acting ethically and protecting company and customer assets.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant driving experience.

Qualifications

• Matric or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (held for at least 2 years).
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must be fully bilingual and able to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and interpret maps.

Note: The successful applicant may be required to work shifts, weekends, and overtime.
