Salary: R273 288 – R374 820 per year (plus benefits)

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
• Valid Code 14 Driver’s License with PrDP
• Relevant operator training
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Physically able to perform manual labour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles and machinery safely
• Transport staff, equipment, and plant items to various sites
• Operate jet truck water vehicles, skid steer loaders, bobcats, and other civil construction machinery
• Plan and organise daily tasks for the team, ensuring work is completed efficiently and meets required standards
• Use allocated resources responsibly and efficiently
• Install required road signage on-site according to the Traffic Control Plan to maintain safety
• Ensure compliance with governance requirements, including the OHS Act, by-laws, and internal policies
• Follow standards, SOPs, and policies to minimise financial wastage and identify potential risks
• Receive, interpret, and complete job cards, maps, and work instructions
• Open manholes, handle hoses, and operate heavy tools and equipment
