Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Driver to join our Sandown Commercial Vehicle team. This role requires a safety-first professional who will ensure efficient transport of goods, personnel, or company vehicles, while upholding our brand’s integrity, punctuality, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
đźšš Deliveries & Collections
- Promptly collect and deliver payments, documents, or goods.
- Communicate immediately if any delivery task cannot be completed.
- Plan efficient, safe routes for all trips.
- Maintain daily logbook and delivery records.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
đź‘Ą Customer Service Excellence
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Keep company vehicles clean and presentable.
- Handle queries courteously and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain Daimler Truck’s strong reputation with every customer interaction.
⚠️ Risk & Compliance
- Adhere strictly to company policies on cash handling, safety, and legal driving requirements.
- Ensure zero tolerance for traffic violations and accidents.
- Understand and comply with all relevant driver, vehicle, and accident policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s License
- At least 2 years’ professional driving experience
