About the Role

Girls and Boys Town South Africa is seeking a responsible and professional Driver to meet the transportation needs of the Macassar Youth Care Development Campus. The main responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe and timely transport of youth in care, while maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with all legal and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport youth to and from designated locations.
• Ensure the vehicle is cleaned and well-maintained at all times.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and arrange timely servicing.
• Operate the vehicle in full compliance with South African traffic laws.
• Adhere to Girls and Boys Town’s driving policies and safety guidelines.
• Handle errands such as banking, deliveries, and appointments promptly.
• Ensure the vehicle meets roadworthy standards.
• Plan routes efficiently to support daily operations.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Grade 10 (Grade 12 / Matric advantageous).
• License: Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Experience: At least 2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
