Purpose of the Role:
Empact Group is seeking a dependable and skilled Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting products and equipment between various locations, supporting customer deliveries and collections, and assisting with general driving-related duties required for daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Valid driver’s licence and PDP with a clean driving record
• Previous driving experience in a similar environment (advantageous)
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage delivery schedules
• Ability to operate different vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehicles
• Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• Professional, reliable, and responsible
• Ability to perform basic vehicle checks (oil, fluid levels, tyre pressure)
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Physically fit to handle equipment and assist with manual tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute timely and cost-effective deliveries
• Complete log sheets, read delivery documents and maps, and communicate with staff and customers
• Maintain clean and organised vehicles
• Pack, unpack, and store stock in an orderly and accessible manner
• Inspect items for damage and report issues to the supervisor
• Receive, count, and verify stock, reporting any discrepancies
• Mark and document stock as required
• Ensure all correct documentation accompanies incoming and outgoing stock; report any issues immediately
