This role is based at the Geochemistry Laboratory in Orkney (Vaal River Laboratory). The successful candidate will support laboratory operations by performing transport-related duties linked to sample preparation and fire assay processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, reliable, and professional transportation service at all times
• Collect and deliver goods as required
• Carry out tasks related to the transportation of materials and equipment
• Maintain accurate operational and vehicle records
• Comply with all SGS quality, safety, and management system requirements
• Keep company vehicles clean and in good condition
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by the line manager

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
• Valid driver’s licence
• Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience

• Flexible and adaptable
• Good knowledge of the North West region
• Ability to read maps and use GPS systems
