Triton Express is currently seeking a Driver 1 Ton to join its East London operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering and collecting customer cargo
• Assisting with the loading and offloading of goods
• Collecting and accurately completing daily delivery and collection sheets
• Conducting daily pre-trip vehicle inspections
• Reporting vehicle faults as required
• Ensuring safe handling of customer cargo at all times
• Verifying delivery and collection addresses
• Maintaining regular communication with the depot
• Adhering strictly to delivery and collection schedules unless authorised otherwise

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• 1–2 years of driving experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Valid, unendorsed driver’s licence
• Good knowledge of the designated delivery area
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Willingness to work overtime when operationally required
• Reliable, honest, and professional in appearance and conduct
• Own transport to and from work
