Minimum Requirements
- Qualification at NQF Level 02 / Grade 10 / ABET / AET as recognised by SAQA.
- Valid driver’s license with 7–12 months relevant driving experience.
- Knowledge of:
- Motor vehicle operating procedures (e.g., obtaining trip authorities, completing logbooks, using consumables, and basic servicing).
- Prescripts for correct vehicle utilisation and proper maintenance procedures.
- Skills & Attributes: Confidentiality, flexibility, good communication skills, and high standard of workmanship.
Key Duties
- Drive light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and deliver mail, documents, and other items.
- Conduct routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and report any defects promptly.
- Accurately complete required records, logbooks, and documentation related to the vehicle and goods transported.
