📌 Job Purpose

Rand Water is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver’s Aide to support Heavy Vehicle Drivers and Construction Plant Operators with daily operational tasks. The successful candidate will assist with vehicle operations, yard duties, and general support activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

The Driver’s Aide will be responsible for:

• Loading, off-loading, and transporting equipment
• Assisting drivers and plant operators with daily tasks
• Cleaning and maintaining vehicles and work areas
• Ensuring proper housekeeping within the yard and depot
• Securing and tying down equipment safely
• Performing general duties as required
• Adhering to all safety standards and procedures

✅ Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

• Grade 12 or N3 qualification
• A valid driver’s licence
• Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s licence
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar environment
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding operational setting
