Job Purpose

Managed People Solutions is seeking a Driver Assistant to join the Meridian Wine Distribution team in Sandton. The role involves assisting with loading, unloading, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products while maintaining service quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Report punctually to ensure delivery schedules are met.
• Manage the daily handover of deliveries from the warehouse to the vehicle.
• Pack deliveries accurately to prevent damage during transport.
• Carry a company tablet and all required paperwork before leaving the warehouse.
• Deliver and collect stock according to schedules or supervisor instructions.
• Complete deliveries correctly, on time, and in line with customer requirements.
• Interact professionally with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Collect and record defective or uplifted stock as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and ensure it is in good condition daily.
• Report accidents or incidents to the Driver Supervisor/Manager immediately and follow standard operating procedures.
• Adhere to the company dress code and ensure a professional appearance at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Code 10 or 14 Driver’s License (advantageous)
