About the Role

Premium Resources Botswana is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Dump Truck Operators to join our dynamic team in Selebi Phikwe. You will be responsible for the safe operation of mine dump trucks, ensuring materials are correctly loaded, transported, and delivered according to site standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proactive maintenance habits, and a commitment to operational safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip, during-operation, and post-trip inspections using standard checklists.
• Identify and report any mechanical issues or abnormalities promptly.
• Ensure materials are loaded correctly and comply with weight restrictions.
• Safely manoeuvre trucks into loading and dumping zones.
• Assist with scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown support.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operability of the truck at all times.
• Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Carry out minor roadside repairs when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Underground ADT Operator’s License.
• Minimum of BGCSE or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience operating dump trucks in an underground mining environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of underground mining operations.
• Experience with off-road and heavy-duty dump trucks.
• Multi-skilled operating capability is a plus.
