Who Should Apply?

Minimum Requirements:

✔ Education:

• NTC 3 Technical Qualification with subjects in Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics (Heavy Current Stream) OR
• Technical Matric (Grade 12) with subjects including English, Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, and Physical Science OR
• Full NCV 4 Electrical Qualification (7 subjects).

✔ Other Requirements:

• Must reside within the Cape Town metropole.
• Passion for the electrical trade and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license (C1/Old Code 10 preferred).
• Must not have already qualified in any trade at the time of starting the program.
• Must not hold a National Diploma (S) or higher qualification.
