🎯 Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Entries Clerk with solid experience in Customs Entries and Electronic Bond Store operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring customs compliance, providing technical support to internal teams, and maintaining smooth import/export documentation processes.

📚 Qualifications & Experience

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential
• Customs Affairs Course or equivalent – essential
• Proficiency in MS Office and systems that generate Customs Bills of Entry
• 4+ years of experience in a Customs Entries technical environment
• 2–3 years of Electronic Bond Store management – advantageous

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and frame all types of Bills of Entry accurately
• Audit customs files to ensure full compliance with regulations
• Support Quality Control (QC) of entries when needed
• Ensure zero SARS Customs penalties by preventing non-compliance
• Process entries before vessel ETA, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Strong MS Office and system navigation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in high-pressure environments
• Solid understanding of Incoterms 2010
• Proactive mindset with a passion for customs compliance and logistics excellence
