🔍 Purpose of the Role

We are looking for four experienced Excavator Operators to join our dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient excavation and loading of materials in line with our company’s standard operating and safety procedures.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Operate an excavator to dig, load, level, and clean material as per job site requirements.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and walk-arounds, reporting any faults or defects.
• Ensure housekeeping of the machine and surrounding area is always maintained.
• Execute tasks with a strong focus on safety and compliance with all site regulations.
• Perform general duties and ad-hoc tasks as needed on-site.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or 12 (or equivalent).
• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Excavator Competency Certificate.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ operating experience in an earthmoving/mining environment.
• Solid knowledge of mining equipment and site safety protocols.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and planning skills.
• Safety-conscious, action-oriented, and adaptable.
