Drive More Than Just a Truck — Drive Progress with BME!
Are you an experienced Code 14 Driver with a Dangerous Goods Permit, looking to join a high-performance team in the explosives and chemicals industry? BME, a division of Omnia, is looking for Packaged Distribution Drivers to safely transport materials within and beyond our Losberg plant.
🚦 What You’ll Do
- Safely transport products and raw materials within the plant and to external locations.
- Support the operations team with Packaged Distribution Assistant duties when required.
🧾 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (or equivalent)
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s License + Dangerous Goods Permit
- 3 years’ experience operating trucks/tractors
- 1 year in a production environment
✅ Bonus Points:
- Experience in explosives handling
- Strong mechanical skills or troubleshooting ability

- Truck driving under all road and weather conditions
- High awareness of safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Basic mechanical know-how and effective problem-solving
- Clear communication skills – verbal and written
