📌 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification (ABET Level 4 or N1)
- Ability to read and write
- Good communication, interpersonal, and numeracy skills
- Physically fit and able to cope with the demands of the job
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to rotate to different areas within the food service unit
- Willingness to perform all general food service duties as delegated by a supervisor
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine duties within the food service unit
- Assist with pre-preparation and preparation of food for normal and therapeutic diets
- Dish and serve food according to portion control standards
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the unit
- Operate basic kitchen machinery and equipment
- Report lost, faulty, or damaged equipment and identify potential safety risks
- Relieve other staff members when required
- Rotate between different sections within the food service unit
- Participate in food service–related training as required
- Carry out any lawful instruction issued by a supervisor
