Are you a skilled forklift driver with a passion for safety, precision, and efficiency? Join the team at Nando’s Feitoria and play a vital role in moving raw materials and finished products across our operational and warehouse lines. Your expertise will ensure our production and dispatch processes run smoothly, safely, and on time.
🧰 Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operations
- Operate forklift to transport materials to and from production lines and storage areas
- Follow shop packet instructions to locate, scan, and move stock pallets accurately
- Support production teams with timely delivery and collection of materials and pallets
- Conduct pre-use inspections and complete checklists to ensure forklift is in safe working condition
- Wrap and stack pallets using designated equipment and methods
- Accurately update SAP with stock movement details
Health & Safety
- Adhere to Nando’s Feitoria safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all operational and storage areas
- Follow safe systems of work for all pallet and materials handling equipment
Inventory & Communication
- Keep records of inventory movements and complete audit documentation
- Perform shift handovers with accuracy and clarity
- Support internal departments by delivering materials on time and in full compliance
âś… Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate or equivalent
- Valid Forklift License
- Proficient in numeracy and literacy
Experience (minimum 1 year):
- Operating a forklift in a production or warehouse environment
- Exposure to manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and safe handling practices
