The ARC-NRE is seeking a skilled and dedicated Gardener to maintain and enhance its facilities in Cedara. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on gardening experience who takes pride in maintaining healthy landscapes and outdoor environments.
π± Key Responsibilities
Plant Care & Maintenance
- Planting, watering, pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Cleaning gutters to support plant health
Landscaping & Lawn Care
- Mowing, edging, seeding, and sodding
- Maintaining lawns and green spaces
Plant Health Management
- Identifying and treating weeds, pests, and plant diseases
- Applying fertilizers and pesticides where required
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Operating gardening tools and machinery
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
Site & Facility Upkeep
- Keeping walkways and gardens clean
- Leaf removal and litter collection
- Cleaning and organizing the storeroom
- Maintaining the weather station site
β Minimum Requirements
- 1β2 yearsβ experience in general gardening work
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (advantageous)
- Good communication and planning skills
