About the Role

Pitsana Mills is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented General Administrator to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, organization, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of general administrative duties across departments.
  • Manage vehicle administration, including licensing, registration, fleet documentation, and Netstar tracking system updates.
  • Track, monitor, and report on vehicle activity and fleet-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records through data capturing, filing, and document management.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence professionally in both Afrikaans and English.
  • Prepare and submit daily operational and management reports.
  • Support stock control activities, including container balancing, stock reading, and discrepancy checks.
  • Assist with financial administration—processing invoices, reconciliations, goods return notes, and handling debtors/creditors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide administrative support such as processing orders, managing client communications, updating CRM systems, and generating quotes or invoices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written).
  • 5–8 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Advantageous Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in finance, vehicle administration, or fleet management.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping systems, invoicing, and reconciliation processes.
