About the Role

Pitsana Mills is looking for a highly organized and detail-driven General Administrator to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a structured administrative environment and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across all departments.
  • Manage vehicle administration, including licensing, registration, and fleet documentation.
  • Monitor, track, and update vehicle information using the Netstar system, and report regularly to management.
  • Perform accurate data capturing, filing, and record management.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls professionally and courteously.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Word daily – strong MS Office proficiency is essential.
  • Compile and submit daily reports, ensuring accurate and timely communication of key data to management.
  • Support stock control processes, including stock reading, container balancing, and discrepancy identification.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and service providers in both Afrikaans and English.
  • Assist with financial administration tasks such as invoicing, reconciliations, goods return notes, and basic bookkeeping (debtors and creditors).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support administrative operations including order processing, client communication, CRM updates, and generation of quotes/invoices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent computer literacy – strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform well under pressure.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in an administrative role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in financial administration, vehicle management, or Netstar/fleet systems.
  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliation processes.
