Job Purpose

To maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas and departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning in designated areas.
• Empty, clean, and transport waste bins to collection points.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Vacuum carpets and conduct spot-cleaning as needed.
• Operate floor scrubbing and polishing machines after proper training.
• Dust, wipe, wash, or polish furniture, shelves, ledges, and surfaces.
• Refill consumables like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels when needed.
• Clean toilets, urinals, basins, and drinking fountains.
• Carry out specialised cleaning in the showroom, collection areas, and office buildings.
• Perform specialised cleaning in warehouse racking and stacking areas.

Requirements & Skills

• Grade 12 or equivalent (strongly preferred).
• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role within a related industry.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Basic health and safety or first aid training (advantageous).
• High energy levels and sober habits.
• Professional, neat, and presentable.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Punctual, friendly, and diligent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
• Able to interact professionally with staff and the public.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Team player with strong self-motivation and initiative.
