The Presidential Youth Employment Initiative – Basic Education Employment Initiative (PYEI-BEEI) is back with Phase V, offering unemployed South African youth (ages 18–34) a valuable opportunity to gain work experience in the education sector!

✅ Contracts Start: 02 June 2025

💼 Positions Available:
Education Assistants (EA) – Matric Required

• Curriculum Assistants
• Reading Champions
• e-Cadres (ICT Integration)
• Care & Support Assistants
• Laboratory Assistants
• Workshop Assistants

General School Assistants (GSA) – No Matric Required

• Handymen/Women (infrastructure support)
• Sports & Enrichment Assistants (sports, arts, culture)

💸 Stipend & Benefits:

• R4,000.00 monthly (less 1% UIF)
• R30.00 monthly data allowance

📍 Eligibility Criteria:

• South African citizens aged 18–34
• Currently unemployed and not in school or training
• Must have a valid South African bank account
• Live within 5 km of an urban school or 30 km of a rural/farm school
• Previous PYEI-BEEI participants (Phases I–IV) can reapply!
