About the Role
Afrirent Holdings is looking to appoint two (2) General Workers at its Florida Depot. The successful candidates will provide cleaning and housekeeping services across allocated areas while ensuring compliance with Afrirent’s occupational health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Kitchen Support
- Maintain clean and hygienic housekeeping at all times
- Prepare refreshments for executives and guests
- Assist with catering needs and meeting room set-ups
- Monitor and replenish kitchen consumables and supplies
- Track stock levels of cleaning products, groceries, and consumables
Cleaning Duties
- Perform routine cleaning (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping)
- Conduct deep cleaning of specified areas when required
- Keep common areas safe and free of obstacles
- Carry out basic maintenance checks and inspections
Health & Safety Compliance
- Adhere to Afrirent’s hygiene and OHS standards
- Report hazards, deficiencies, and maintenance issues
- Support a safe and clean working environment
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 (or equivalent)
- 0–6 months of cleaning/housekeeping experience (advantageous)
- Knowledge of cleaning products, housekeeping practices, and OHS regulations
- Good communication, time management, and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
