Job Overview
Afrirent Holdings is looking to appoint two General Workers at our Florida Depot. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic facilities while ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Kitchen Support
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas.
- Prepare refreshments for executives and guests.
- Assist with catering needs and set up meeting rooms.
- Replenish kitchen consumables and monitor stock levels.
- Ensure adequate supply of cleaning products and groceries.
Cleaning Duties
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping).
- Keep common areas safe and obstacle-free.
- Perform inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning as required.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Adhere to Afrirent’s hygiene and safety code of conduct.
- Follow OHS policies and report any hazards.
- Identify and report repair or maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 10.
- 0–6 months’ experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning materials, practices, and OHS standards.
- Good communication, time management, and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
