Position Overview

Afrirent Auto is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Worker to join our team in Soweto. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining vehicles, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the wash bay.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and clean the exterior of trucks and trailers
• Inspect vehicles and equipment after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met
• Move vehicles in and out of the wash bay and around the parking area when required
• Maintain proper stock levels of cleaning materials and chemicals
• Use the correct cleaning products and techniques for each task
• Ensure daily targets and deadlines are achieved
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in and around the wash bay area
• Report any damages or irregularities to management immediately
• Perform general housekeeping duties and assist with other tasks as required

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar environment (advantageous)
• Clear criminal record
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Attention to detail and high work standards
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Must be a self-starter and reliable team player

Remuneration: R6 400 per month
Work Location: On-site (Soweto, Gauteng)
