Job Description:
Afrirent Auto is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented General Worker to assist with cleaning and maintenance operations at our facility in Soweto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and clean the exterior of trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment after each wash to ensure quality standards are met.
- Check trucks, tarps, and trailers for cleanliness and report any new damages to management.
- Move vehicles in and out of the wash bay or around the parking area when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in and around the wash bay area.
- Ensure sufficient stock of cleaning materials and use correct chemicals and products.
- Meet daily cleaning targets and adhere to set deadlines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar environment will be an advantage.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Self-motivated with a high standard of work.
- Fluent in English.
- Clear criminal record.
