Yokos, a proudly South African company, produces natural, wholesome dairy and plant-based products with a strong focus on quality, hygiene, and consistency. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Worker to support our food production operations.

Role Overview

This part-time, on-call position involves assisting the production team with daily tasks, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, and ensuring strict compliance with food safety standards. Work will be assigned based on production demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily production activities such as packing, labeling, and ingredient preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all work and production areas.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Clean tools, equipment, and work surfaces as needed.
• Assist with loading and offloading raw materials and finished products.
• Comply with company policies and health & safety requirements.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience in food production, manufacturing, or cleaning is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Must have a cellphone with WhatsApp for shift communication.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions well.
• Physically able to stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and high hygiene standards.
• Willing to work on-call with flexible availability.
• Able to work occasional weekends or public holidays if needed.

Work Schedule

• Part-time, on-call basis.
• Shifts scheduled according to production needs.
• No regular weekend or public holiday work unless required by production levels.
