About the Role
Afrirent Auto is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Worker to join our team in Nigel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of trucks and trailers while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and clean the exterior of trucks and trailers.
- Inspect all equipment and vehicles after washing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Check trucks, tarps, and trailers for cleanliness and overall condition.
- Move trucks in and out of the wash bay and around the parking area as required.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure the correct cleaning products and chemicals are used.
- Meet daily targets and complete assigned tasks within set deadlines.
- Keep the wash bay and surrounding areas clean and organized.
- Report any damages or irregularities to management promptly.
- Perform other general duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning or automotive environment.
- Strong communication, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
- Clear criminal record.
- Fluent in English.
- Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
