Overview
The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for two permanent General Worker (Stores) positions. Preference will be given in line with Employment Equity principles, and applications from persons with disabilities are encouraged.

Minimum Requirements
Inherent Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Capable of operating heavy-duty warehouse machinery.
- Able to lift heavy items and work with cleaning materials.
Experience:
- Relevant experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
Education:
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general tasks within the Stores department.
- Deliver stock and buy-out items to various hospital departments.
- Clean the Transito area and delivery courtyard.
- Provide assistance to the Asset Management unit.
- Support the supervisor by adhering to the Code of Conduct.
Competencies / Skills
- Ability to issue incoming and outgoing stock/buy-outs following AOS (Accounting Officer System) procedures.
- Safe and correct use of warehouse equipment.
- Basic numerical ability.
- Good physical fitness.
