Position: General Worker (x3)

Purpose:
To ensure all planned operational targets for tailings deposition are met on time, in line with contractual obligations, and delivered to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team leader/supervisor to meet operational targets.
• Conduct daily inspections in assigned areas of responsibility.
• Plan and manage tailings material both on-site and at deposition areas.
• Assist in resolving operational challenges and promptly report deviations to the supervisor.
• Comply with company disciplinary procedures, policies, and procedures.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations as outlined by legislation and company standards.
• Extend and connect pipelines as required.
• Open and close valves according to operational requirements.
• Take ownership of personal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.

Experience:

• 0–2 years’ relevant experience in an earthmoving or related environment.
• Prior experience in tailings dam operations or the mining industry (minimum 2 years) will be an advantage.

General Requirements:

• Understanding of relevant standard operating procedures.
• Medically fit to work in a mining environment.
• Must pass mine-related criminal screening.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
