Gold One Group Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Grout Plant Operator to join its Mining division in Brakpan, Gauteng. This mid-senior level role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in grout plant operations within a mining environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining grout plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production in line with mine standards and procedures.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 11 or equivalent qualification
- Fitter Aide / Service Person certificate
- 2–3 years’ experience in a grout plant environment (advantageous)
- Proven experience as a Grout Plant Operator
- Strong technical knowledge of grout mixing and pumping systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and any of the 11 official languages
- Good interpersonal and two-way radio communication skills
- Willingness to work shifts
- Ability to work under pressure
- South African Citizenship
- Clear Criminal Record
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Operate grout plant equipment, including mixers, pumps, and storage systems
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain correct grout consistency and flow
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Conduct quality control checks on grout mixtures
- Maintain accurate production, material usage, and equipment performance records
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth plant operations
- Maintain the area of responsibility according to mine standards, procedures, and practices
