Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
- Strictly adhere to safety regulations and occupational health standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including maintenance logs, work orders, and departmental reports.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is well-maintained and in optimal working condition.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per the established schedule to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Promptly inform management of any significant issues, repairs needed, or unusual activity in the work area.
- Foster effective communication and coordination with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Minimum education level: Standard Eight (Grade 10)
- Additional training or certification in general maintenance or repair procedures is an advantage.
Required Knowledge
- Basic understanding of building and equipment maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience
- A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a maintenance or general repair role.
Skills and Abilities
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high work standards.
