Rand Water is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our Shared Services team. If you have experience handling heavy vehicles, understand the importance of precision logistics, and want to play a vital role in keeping our operations flowing—this is the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Transporting materials, equipment, and refuse between sites
- Assisting with loading/offloading of domestic and garden waste
- Performing daily inspections and cleaning of the vehicle
- Reporting faults, defects, and incidents to the Supervisor
- Ensuring secure, balanced, and safe loading of all cargo
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
- Code EC1 driver’s license + ability to pass Rand Water’s internal K53 driver assessment
- Valid PDP (Public Driver’s Permit)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating heavy vehicles and truck-mounted cranes
