Human Resource Clerk (Production) – Ref No: 290925/03

Requirements
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
- Knowledge of the PERSAL system, databases, and spreadsheet applications.
- Understanding of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and other HR prescripts (advantageous).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
Key Duties
- Provide human resource clerical services and administrative support.
- Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including appointments, probation, and terminations.
- Administer conditions of service such as leave, housing, medical aid, and allowances.
- Respond to HR-related queries and provide registry services.
- Capture and update employee transactions on the PERSAL system.
- Manage HR administration enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update personnel filing systems (both physical and electronic).
- Draft routine correspondence, submissions, and reports.
- Support effective implementation of HR policies, systems, regulations, and guidelines.

Requirements
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
- Knowledge of the PERSAL system, databases, and spreadsheet applications.
- Understanding of the Public Service Act (PSA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), and other HR-related legislation and prescripts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Duties
- Provide professional HR advice and support to line managers.
- Interpret and implement departmental HRM policies, systems, regulations, and guidelines.
- Capture employee transactions on the PERSAL system.
- Assist with HR functions, including:
- Recruitment and selection.
- Organisational development.
- Employee relations.
- Human resource development.
- Draft submissions and reports.
- Handle HR administration processes (conditions of service, service terminations, leave management).
- Provide HR registry services and maintain accurate records.
