Salary: R85 620 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Computer literacy and strong attention to detail
- A recommendation or nomination letter from a recognised community organisation (issued within the last 6 months)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Public service orientation and a good understanding of Batho Pele principles
- Assertive, able to perform under pressure, and communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
- A valid driver’s licence will be an advantage
- Preference will be given to applicants residing near the correctional centre where the position is available
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and report on urgent matters at assigned correctional centres
- Hold interviews and consultations with inmates and correctional staff regarding complaints and mandatory matters
- Receive, record, and capture complaints or requests on the official database
- Open and maintain case files and ensure proper follow-up on unresolved cases
- Compile and submit monthly reports with statistical summaries of complaints
- Respond to enquiries and ensure all issues are handled professionally and confidentially
- Execute additional duties or instructions as directed by the Supervisor or Regional Manager
