About the Role
As a Lab Helper at Ampath, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our laboratory services. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who value cleanliness, organisation, and teamwork, and who want to contribute to excellence in healthcare. Your work will help create safe, well-prepared environments that enable accurate diagnostics and improved patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Basic numeracy skills, including the ability to perform simple calculations and work with percentages
• No previous experience required – training will be provided

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe laboratory environment
• Prepare equipment and glassware for use
• Assist with administrative tasks to support laboratory operations
• Ensure work areas meet cleanliness and safety standards
• Support colleagues to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency
