Minimum Requirements

• Education: Basic numeracy and literacy
• Experience: Proven experience in driving, including:
  • Transporting staff and clients
  • Delivery of goods and services

Competencies & Skills

• Knowledge of:
  • Government Motor Transport Handbook 1 of 2019
  • Circular 4 of 2000
• Routine vehicle maintenance and defect inspections
• Safe, responsible driving practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to:
  • Work independently and in a team
  • Accept accountability
  • Perform physical labour

Inherent Job Requirements

• Valid Code B/EB/C1 driver’s license
• Valid Public Driving Permit (PDP)
• Willingness to:
  • Work overtime and standby shifts
  • Perform admin or relief duties as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods, personnel, and clients safely and efficiently
• Maintain logbooks, trip authorities, and other admin records
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report issues
• Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained
• Support supervisor and assist with logistical functions
