Remuneration
- Salary Scale: R227 508,00 – R315 984,00 per annum

Job Purpose
To safely and efficiently transport personnel, materials, and equipment to operational sites in support of electricity distribution and streetlight maintenance activities across the City of Tshwane.
Minimum Appointment Requirements
- Grade 10 qualification
- At least six (6) months’ relevant driving experience
- Valid Code EC or C1 driving licence with a valid PrDP
- Good physical health and fitness
- Excellent eyesight
- Willingness and ability to:
- Work shifts, overtime, and standby duties
- Relieve in similar positions when required
- Be deployed to any area within Tshwane, as determined by departmental management

Key Responsibilities
- Execute instructions as received from the supervisor
- Transport personnel, tools, and equipment to operational sites to ensure uninterrupted service delivery
- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act 85 of 1993) at all times
- Rotate between operational teams to support multi-skilling initiatives
- Ensure optimal use of vehicles, tools, and resources for cost-effectiveness and efficiency
