🛠 Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management

• Conduct routine inspections to prevent equipment failures
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans
• Oversee repairs and servicing of electrical and plumbing systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Minimize downtime and optimize repair costs

Procurement & Inventory

• Source and order tools, materials, and spare parts within budget
• Negotiate competitive pricing
• Maintain stock levels of essential supplies
• Ensure proper care and servicing of tools and equipment

Property & Facility Management

• Maintain buildings, grounds, and warehouse facilities to high standards
• Assist tenants with maintenance-related concerns
• Supervise and manage external contractors
• Ensure work is completed according to required standards

Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

• Identify and mitigate workplace risks
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations
• Conduct safety briefings and promote a safe work culture
• Maintain safety equipment in working condition

✅ Minimum Requirements

Non-Negotiable

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Technical trade qualification (Electrical & Plumbing specialization)
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance supervision experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong experience in preventative maintenance & risk management

Preferred

• Warehouse & commercial property maintenance experience
• Exposure to building management systems
• HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance knowledge
• Budget management & cost optimization experience
