Requirements
- Grade 10 qualification or 7–12 months of relevant experience.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence.
- Good knowledge of the city or areas where duties will be performed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and deliver mail, documents, and other items.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on the assigned vehicle, and report any faults promptly.
- Complete all required vehicle logbooks and documentation related to transported goods.
- Provide general clerical and messenger support within the office.
- Collect and deliver documents and related items within the department.
- Make copies, fax documents, and assist with registry tasks.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Applications must be completed on the latest Z83 form (effective 01 January 2021), available at any Public Service Department or online at http://www.info.gov.za/documents/forms/employ.pdf.
- An unsigned Z83 normally results in disqualification. However, the e-Recruitment Z83 cannot currently be downloaded or signed, so applicants applying online will not be disqualified for this reason.
- Applications submitted using outdated Z83 forms will not be considered.
- A Z83 form must be accompanied by a recent, detailed CV, with at least two contactable references, and uncertified copies of qualifications (including Matric), ID, and a driver’s licence where applicable.

- Non-RSA citizens and Permanent Residents must attach a copy of their Permanent Residence Permit.
- Applicants with foreign qualifications must submit a SAQA evaluation certificate.
