📋 Duties and Responsibilities (Focus: Driving & AMITD Support)
| Primary Focus Area | Key Tasks |
| Driving & Delivery | * Conduct local and national deliveries; manage time to meet schedules. |
| * Run official African Medicines Innovations and Technologies Development (AMITD) errands. |
| * Load/unload cargo and delicate equipment. |
| * Confirm delivery by obtaining signatures. |
| Vehicle Care | * Inspect vehicle for maintenance/defects and report issues. |
| * Maintain a clean and organised vehicle. |
| Specialised Support | * Fill and collect liquid nitrogen per safety procedures. |
| * Handle materials safely (e.g., medicines, samples, chemicals). |
| General AMITD Support | * Assist with laboratory housekeeping (moving equipment, arranging storage, basic cleaning). |
| * Support asset/inventory management (labelling, tagging). |
| * Help receive, unpack, and store stock/deliveries. |
| Waste & Facilities | * Assist with waste segregation and disposal (including chemical waste). |
| * Assist with safe removal of packaging materials (boxes, pallets). |
| * Report facility maintenance issues (leaks, faulty lights). |
| Schedule | * Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (Monday-Friday, some weekends/public holidays) as required by AMITD. |
