💡 Your Mission

Play a crucial role in Durban’s energy management by ensuring accurate electricity meter readings. From data capture to customer service and on-site operations, you’ll help power the city with precision.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Accurately read and record electricity meter data
• Reconnect and disconnect safe electricity supplies
• Report suspected electricity tampering
• Foster strong customer relationships
• Drive a meter reading vehicle and complete log sheets
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and accessibility to meter points
• Identify/report on meter placements and access issues
• Use handheld tech and systems to upload/download readings

✅ What You Bring

Must-Have:
✔️ Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
✔️ Valid driver’s license
✔️ 1 year relevant experience
✔️ Basic computer literacy

Nice-to-Have:
🌟 3 years of meter reading or related field experience
